De Shon Andrews
Lead Firearms Instructor Founder of Ten Ring Accuracy
De Shon retired from the LAPD after 27 years, dedicating much of his career to detective work in Major Assault Crimes, Homicide, and Robbery. Throughout his tenure, he led numerous tactical operations with distinction. Following his retirement, De Shon embarked on a second career as a Senior Investigator for the District Attorney’s Office, where he earned the Bureau’s highest marksmanship honor, the Distinguished Expert award. De Shon is a Chief Range Safety Officer and is a certified pistol, shotgun, and rifle instructor.

Mark Holguin
Lead Tactics Instructor
Mark retired after a distinguished 35 year career with the Los Angeles Police Department. Throughout his service, he served as a tactics instructor and was a valued member of the elite Metropolitan Division. Mark is a certified pistol, shotgun, and rifle instructor. He is also an EMT. Mark also earned the Department’s highest marksmanship honor, the Distinguished Expert award.

Ron Sneed
Firearms Instructor
Ron began his career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. During his tenure, he developed expertise in gangs and subcultures, participating in numerous tactical operations. He later transitioned to the District Attorney’s Office, where he serves as an Investigator. Ron completed the FBI’s rigorous firearms training course and earned certification as a firearms instructor. He currently holds the Bureau’s highest marksmanship honor, the Distinguished Expert award.

Edward Wandrick
Firearms/Tactics Instructor
Edward “Ed” is a seasoned Army veteran with 36 years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, he has served as a Range Safety Officer and steadily advanced to become a certified Army Weapons Instructor, demonstrating expertise in firearm safety, mechanics, ballistics, and human physiology. As a mustang, Ed most recently qualified with the M16/M4 automatic rifles, as well as the M17/18 and M9 small arms. Currently, he serves as a peace officer with Los Angeles County.

Charlotte Burns
Firearms Instructor
Charlotte is a recently retired veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, with 25 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, she held diverse roles, including patrol officer, narcotics investigator, and detective. As a detective supervisor, Charlotte led numerous tactical operations, demonstrating strong leadership and expertise.
As a dedicated law enforcement officer and passionate firearms enthusiast, she brings extensive experience training with diverse firearms and is a steadfast advocate for the Second Amendment. She believes every firearm owner should pursue proficiency through continuous training and education.

Tiffany Ayers
Firearms/Tactics Instructor
Tiffany “Tiff” brings 17 years of law enforcement experience with the Los Angeles Police Department and earned certified marksman status upon graduating from the academy. She delivers training with tactical precision and operational discipline, grounded in sound judgment, ethical decision-making, and a strong commitment to responsible firearm ownership. Renowned for her strategic leadership and context-aware communication, Tiffany empowers individuals to build confidence under pressure while emphasizing safety and accountability. Her mission is to enhance public safety through transparent dialogue, high standards, and community-focused empowerment, ensuring every student gains not only skills but also critical discernment.

ShaQuana Pounders
Firearms Instructor
ShaQuana “ShaQ” is a sworn supervisor with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and a United States Air Force veteran, having served 10 years on active duty and 23 years in the reserves. She retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E9) assigned to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), a sister branch to NCIS. Throughout her career in both organizations, ShaQ has held various leadership roles that required precision, expertise in weapons systems, and a strong focus on combat readiness.

Derek Lee
Firearms Instructor
Derek served four years in the United States Army, specializing in weapons of mass destruction. After his military service, he dedicated 23 years to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, developing expertise in robbery suppression and force options techniques. Additionally, Derek brings 22 years of experience in executive protection and seven years as a firefighter/paramedic, where he earned his EMT certification. He is also a certified instructor in pistol, shotgun, and rifle.

Ulysses Taylor
Revolver/Chief RSO
Ulysses retired after dedicating 20 years of service to the Los Angeles Police Department. During his tenure, he completed the Department’s Instructor Development course and served as an Officer Safety in Field Tactics Instructor as well as a Firearms Handgun Instructor. He is also a Chief Range Safety Officer

Derrick Brooks
Firearms/Tactics Instructor
Derrick “DB” is a retired Army Veteran with more than 20 years of honorable service. He has been deployed overseas in support of multiple combat missions, including assignments in Sinai, Egypt; Kosovo; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and Afghanistan. Derrick is highly skilled and qualified in small arms marksmanship, specializing in both pistol (9MM) and rifle (M4 Carbine).
